Apartments and B&B Ai Pini in San Cassiano in Alta Badia
Where we are and how to find us
As the name suggests, the Apart-Hotel and B&B Ai Pini (in Italian "Among the pine trees") in San Cassiano is set on the edge of a lush coniferous forest that climbs towards the Fanes plateau, a part of the Fanes-Sennes-Prags Nature Park. Both the centre of San Cassiano and the cable car of Piz Sorega are approximately 1 km away and can be reached in just 10 minutes on foot. In winter, however, there is a private shuttle to/from the ski slopes. Besides, the public bus 465 stops right in front of the Apart-Hotel and B&B Ai Pini, providing connections with Armentarola, Sarè (Capanna Alpina, Cross-Country Ski Centre), the centre of San Cassiano and other villages of the valley, as well as the Falzarego Pass in summer.
The Apart-Hotel and B&B Ai Pini is easy to reach and to find – it is located in Glira Street, on the way between San Cassiano and the Valparola Pass. Arriving from Venice, head towards Cortina d'Ampezzo, then towards the Falzarego Pass and, once on top, take the exit towards the Valparola Pass. The B&B Ai Pini is well seen from the road on the section between Armentarola and San Cassiano.
Those who reach Alta Badia from the Gardena Pass or along the state road of the Badia Valley from Brunico/Bruneck, should cross the whole village of San Cassiano and proceed for a couple of minutes in the direction of Armentarola / Falzarego Pass.
If you are going to drive over the mountain passes (Gardena Pass, Campolongo Pass, Falzarego Pass and Valparola Pass), we recommend you to check their opening on the website of the Province of Bolzano or on the signposts along the way.
